Directions from Liberia's International Airport

 

Once you get your bags you will go through customs.  If you are renting a car, look for a sign from your rental car company and they will take you via small bus to the rental office.  All rental car companies are near the airport.  

 

Once you exit the rental car company, you have to turn either right or left.   Ask the attendant which way to turn, heading towards Flamingo. 

 

From the exit at the airport you will travel approximately 27 km without any turns.  Make your first right in the small town of Belen (there are very poor markings everywhere in Costa Rica and no road signs). You will have just passed a grocery store on your right called Super Compro and at the right turn there is a gas station on the corner. There are signs that say To Tamarindo, To Playa Conchal, To Westin Hotel. 

 

Travel approximately 4 km to a stop sign (dead end). Turn left and continue on for another 22 km to the next turn. The next town is called Haucas (pronounced Wacus).  This a very small town which is about a 1 mile long strip. As you go through the town you will see a left turn towards Tamarindo (don’t turn) and you’ll pass another Super Compro. You’ll travel slightly beyond the Super Compro and there will be signs for Playa Conchal, Westin and Brasilito. Turn right.  As soon as you turn, you will see a small sign that says Brasilito 5 km.  You will pass the Westin Hotel on your left and you will continue to Brasilito.  After passing a one-lane bridge you will see a stop sign (Tiki's restaurant is on the corner). Turn right at the stop sign and travel approximately 2 km to Mar Vista (where Casa Symbiotica is located). Turn right into the development. Continue to the guard gate where someone will meet you to guide you to the property.   The home is on lot 19 (casa decetes nueve).   Make sure your car is in 4-wheel drive when driving through the development, the roads are very steep.  Enjoy your luxury vacation at Casa Symbitica!
